 		 Text Box: President’s Letter Dear AL Chapter Members, Tropical Storm Isadore approaches our coast and promises us too much at once of a much needed thing for some of our areas. We need the rain to ease our draught. We don’t need it all at once. We wish you safety in this and all storms. The fall brings a flood of AMTA activity too. AMTA’s National Convention in Portland, Massage Awareness Week , and our own Chapter Quarterly Meeting Nov 2, in Mobile. Participation and involvement in these programs is very enriching. We hope you will be actively involved and rewarded by them. Luckily Isadore may be a relatively minor storm, but it prompts us to look ahead and see the need for our MERT Team to grow and develop so that we can support a humanitarian response to future disasters that may come Alabama’s way. Please consider what you might be able to contribute to organizing and building that team with Gayla Henderson. Be well, and keep in touch. Len Daley
