Those who have enjoyed Julia
Young Hayes introduction to Aquatic Massage at previous Quarterly CE offerings
have a tremendous treat in store on Nov 2, 2002, when she will offer an in
depth four hour in pool CE Workshop.
Julia will demonstrate and facilitate partner practice for techniques
from WATSU, water dance, and other aquatic modalities.
Participants a year ago in a
short version of this offering were astounded at the effects of doing bodywork
in water. One participant said, “It is
like getting lymphatic drainage all over my body for the whole time I am moving
in the water. The systemic cleansing
was phenomenal.”
Scheduled to occur in conjunction with our Mobile Quarterly Meeting affords us access to the beautiful and relaxing luxury of Victoria’s Waters, which is a salt water, body temperature pool in which to experience these modalities in perfect conditions. They can be done in the shallow end of any pool, and are wonderful to use and share in any water available, so don’t think you have to build a natatorium to use what you will learn.
The introduction is required
for the experiential offering. Those
who attended the Aquatic Massage Introduction elsewhere may but are not
required to repeat it in the morning session in Mobile.
AMTA AL Chapter CE offerings
are available to AMTA Members at $15/hr and non-members at $20/hr. Please contact the chapter to reserve your
space.
