AMTA EVENTS BRING YOU PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AND ENJOYABLE FELLOWSHIP!These events are designed to meet your needs and advance your professional development. You will find mutual support, fun, and great motivational uplift to stir and sustain your passion for the profession of massage. Choose the events you wish to experience. The AMTA-AL Chapter Annual Convention, the first weekend of May, is a great place to get Continuing Education and meet your professional colleagues from all over the state. Quarterly Meetings happen on the first Saturdays of February in Montgomery, May in either Birmingham with its central location or at the beach around Gulf Shores (this is the annual meeting!), August in Huntsville, and November in either the Mobile area or Birmingham (wherever the annual meeting wasn't). In addition to the business meeting, Continuing Education is always offered in conjunction before and/or after the meetings which are scheduled around the state to provide everyone a convenient chance to be involved, tell the association what is on your mind and what you need to help you in your profession. They are also a great way to build our professional network as licensed massage therapists in Alabama. For details click here. Regional meetings occur by the initiative of our members in any given location. Your Chapter Officers and the Education Chair will collaborate to help you create the events you wish to host to meet the needs of your locally gathered massage therapists. The AMTA National Annual Conventions are phenomenal happenings with hundreds of therapists gathered to enjoy the finest Continuing Educational offerings, fun filled social opportunities, and experience the leading speakers and presenters in our profession.
