Membership CommitteeCongratulations and welcome members. Our chapter is growing, we have increase our professional members once again. As of the second quarter of 2002 we have Now that AMTA recognizes the State of Alabama's Board and Licensure as qualification for Professional Membership status you may apply for that status. You must apply for Professional Membership no longer than three years after joining AMTA in Associate Membership status. The AL Chapter may earn more representative delegates to the AMTA's House of Delegates at future annual conventions if our professional membership increases sufficiently by Jan 1st of a new year. Our rate of growth had us just on the edge of earning a second delegate this last January, so we are hopeful the trend continues and that will be achieved next cycle. Please do upgrade your membership to Professional status when you renew. You are then entitled to listing yourself on the Find A Therapist section of the AMTA National website. If you have any membership questions please contact your Membership Committee Chair, Dr. Russell Wilson, E-mail or phone at 334-887-7010. |
